Manchester City returned to football to face Japanese champions Yokohama for a pre-season friendly. In an eight goal thriller, Erling Haaland returned to goal-scoring action with a brace in within just 45 minutes.

Bernardo has a new hairdo; Mateo Kovacic makes his City debut; Cancelo back with the squad; and Haaland back on the scoresheet – well, the latter is not really a change.
