City are pushing to get their star man to renew his contract with the club too. An extension would put to bed the annual saga of whether will Bernardo stay or leave the champions.
There is interest in City’s Portuguese midfielder’s services from Barcelona, PSG and Saudi club Al-Hilal. City are hoping to secure their star’s signature to fend off the interest and secure Bernardo’s future at the Etihad.

With Ilkay Gundogan having left the champions, and Kyle Walker, Aymeric Laporte and Joao Cancelo all linked with moves, securing Bernardo’s future would be a huge boost for the champions.
As pre-season has begun, and Manchester City is currently in Asia, if Bernardo Silva commits his future to the club, it would be a massive boost for Pep Guardiola’s side ahead of their treble defence.
