James Trafford has completed his move to Burnley for an undisclosed fee.
The young goalkeeper has sealed his move to the Clarets following a successful loan spell at Bolton Wanderers last season. Trafford would go on to star at the UEFA Under 21 European Championships for England this summer. That strong form put him on the radar of Premier League clubs, and Burnley has landed the talented young goalkeeper.

A fee of £15 million plus add-ons has been reported by Pete O’Rourke of Football Insider. Manchester City are believed to have a buy-back clause included in the transfer as first reported by Fabrizio Romano.
Trafford’s move is yet another win for the Manchester City academy set-up. Another talented youngster now gets a chance at Premier League football, while City banks more incoming transfer revenue.
As Trafford completes his move to the Clarets, he will be a player to keep an eye on for Vincent Kompany’s side. A successful spell at Burnley for Trafford may lead to a return to the Etihad in the future for the keeper.
