Bayern Munich could offer Benjamin Pavard to Manchester City in return for Kyle Walker.
According to reports, the Bundesliga giants would be open to adjusting their transfer strategy in order to sign Walker.
Christian Falk wrote for his CaughtOffside column:
“Bayern Munich are yet to get an offer for Benjamin Pavard but what we’ve heard from the player’s side is that he would be interested in a move to Manchester City.
“One important thing for him is to play as a defender and not a right-back. If Pep Guardiola is playing with three in a row at the back, that would also work fine for him. So this could be the next step when they get into talks.
“Bayern want to sell him, they would talk about the scenario of a swap deal for Kyle Walker.”
Tuchel has been described as a huge fan of the England fullback, and Bayern are desperate to reach an agreement.
Florian Plettenberg of Sky Sports Germany claims that Walker has informed Guardiola of his intent to leave the Blues this summer. The two clubs will come head to head during their preseason tours of Asia.
While Bayern have had a busy transfer window thus far, Manchester City’s has been dramatic. The Gvardiol saga continues, though the Blues have lost experience in Mahrez and Gundogan.
However, with Bayern Munich set on Walker City could be in danger of losing more experience from the squad. Nevertheless, Transfer Expert Fabrizio Romano stipulates that City bosses have offered Walker a new deal.
