Josko Gvardiol is set to conclude the second part of his medical as he prepares to join Manchester City.
The Croatian defender is close to completing his medical, according to Fabrizio Romano. The transfer expert further adds that the champions hope to have Gvardiol’s medical complete on Thursday.

The news follows yesterday’s news of an agreement being reached between the champions and RB Leipzig. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano also broke the news that the clubs had finally agreed on a deal for Gvardiol.

The impending signing of the centre-back will be a huge boost for the treble winners as they begin their pre-season tour of Asia. When the deal is complete City will be adding one of the premier young defenders in world football. Gvardiol will add a strong presence in defense, and his technical ability with be another boost to Pep Guardiola’s squad.
If the move is completed in time it is expected that Josko Gvardiol will link up with the City squad in Japan and Korea for the remainder of pre-season.
