Raphinha is the latest forward to be linked with Manchester City as they look set to replace Riyad Mahrez.
The Algerian has been linked with Saudi club Al-Ahli following a historic season with the Blues.
However, Simon Jones for the Daily Mail claims that Al-Ahli have had their opening bid rejected. Despite and initial bid of £18m being rejected, talks are expected to continue. Manchester City want £30m for the winger.
Journalist Santi Aouna claims that the Blues would make Raphinha a high priority should Mahrez leave.
The former Leeds winger moved to Barcelona during summer of 2022 on a five year contract. In his short time with the La Liga giants he has won both the Spanish Super Cup and the La Liga.
At 26 he would be a good age, however Barcelona still owe Manchester City over £30m. Ferran Torres left the Blues for the Spanish club in 2022 and they have yet to stump up the cash.
As a result, it is hard to see City doing business with Barcelona any time soon.
