Manchester City have reached an agreement with RB Leipzig for Gvardiol. He will be a City player this summer.
Following weeks of negotiations, Transfer Expert Fabrizio Romano confirms the deal is done.
In a busy day for the Blues, news broke earlier that Al-Ahli have agreed a fee with Manchester City for Riyad Mahrez. He has been excluded from the travelling preseason squad and will have his medical tomorrow.
Manchester City have been working tirelessly to bring Gvardiol to the Etihad. The hard work has paid off.
Given that the deal is almost complete, he may join Guardiola’s men during their preseason tour.
Romano said:
“Joško Gvardiol to Man City, here we go! Agreement reached on the fee between City and Leipzig”.
However, James Ducker of the Telegraph disputes Romano’s reports.

This is a signing that has excited City fans and they will be keen to see him alongside the likes of Dias and Stones.
