Manchester City youngsters have dominated the team of the tournament for the recently completed UEFA under-21 European Championships.
England won the tournament with a 1-nil win over Spain in the decider.
City had 3 players selected in the 11. James Trafford, Taylor Harwood-Bellis and Sergio Gomez all were rewarded for their outstanding form.

City keeper Trafford was outstanding as England went through the tournament without conceding a goal. In the last minute of a tense final against Spain, Trafford would be the hero for England. He made a crucial penalty save, and another off the resulting rebound to preserve England’s clean sheet. His heroics preserved England’s 1-nil lead and gave him one of the moments of the tournament.

Taylor Harwood-Bellis also earnt a selection for his outstanding tournament. He showed poise, leadership and was a strong presence in each of the games he played. His defensive partnership with Levi Colwell was vital for England.
Sergio Gomez was the third City player to make the team of the tournament. The City starlet shone for Spain playing primarily on a left wing. He would go on to finish joint top-scorer of the tournament with 3 goals for Spain.
