Manchester City and RB Leipzig are entering a decisive week regarding a deal for Croatian defender Josko Gvardiol.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano is reporting that talks are scheduled this week between the two clubs.

Romano adds to his report that the scheduled talks will be decisive for City clinching a deal with the DFB Pokal winners for the services of the centre-back.
City have had their opening off of €75 million plus add-ons rejected by Leipzig adds Romano. The German club are holding out for their €100 million valuation of the young defender.
Gvardiol and City have agreed personal terms, as reported by Romano previously. The Croatian defender has informed his club of his request for a move to the champions.

City will want any deal for Gvardiol concluded in time for their pre-season tour of Asia. City’s opening game of their pre-season tour is July 23rd against Yokohama F. Marino’s.
The players of Manchester City are due to return to the club next week to begin their pre-season before setting off for the Asian tour.
