Manchester City EDS graduates depart the club

Manchester City EDS graduates are on the move as clubs swoop in for top talents.

The reigning Premier League Champions will earn more funds to add to their growing and potentially record-breaking revenue this year.

Morgan Rogers has joined Middlesbrough on a permanent deal. The former Blue is Boro’s fifth signing of the summer.

The 20-year-old has had multiple spells on loan at Blackpool, Bournemouth and Lincoln City. However, he has now left the club for a secure spot in the Championship.

Cieran Slicker is set to join Ipswich Town permanently. Following loan spells for the youngster, he will leave the club for League One. The goalkeeper has signed a three-year contract for an undisclosed fee.

Southampton are close to signing Shea Charles following their relegation from the Premier League. This would not be the first time that Southampton have claimed talent from the City EDS.

Simon Bajkowski and Joe Bray for the Manchester Evening News state that Manchester City will demand £10m for the player, with an additional £5m in add-ons.

The Blues will also have a buy-back clause and a lucrative sell-on clause for the 19-year-old.
