Brighton eye Cole Palmer loan deal

Brighton has their eye on a loan move for Cole Palmer.

Dan King of the Sun reports that Brighton is lining up a loan bid for the Manchester City winger.

Roberto De Zerbi plays an attacking brand of football and could be the perfect opportunity for Cole Palmer to develop his game further.

Cole Palmer has previously been linked with a loan move to Borussia Dortmund this transfer window.

Also reported in the Sun is that Manchester City won’t sanction the sale of Cole Palmer. City see a loan move as a necessary step in Palmer’s development to gain first-team experience.

Palmer is currently on international duty with the England Under 21 squad at the UEFA Under 21 European Championships.

Brighton has a history of developing promising young talent. Kaoru Mitoma, Julio Enciso, Evan Ferguson and Moises Caceido have all developed and risen to prominence at Brighton under Roberto De Zerbi last season.

City’s young winger has the talent to succeed at the highest level. His first team opportunities have been limited at Manchester City due to the quality of players in front of him.

A loan move to Brighton or Borussia Dortmund maybe the perfect environment for Cole Palmer to develop his game.
