Manchester Cityβs home at the Etihad Stadium is undergoing major renovations. Announcements came earlier in the year of plans to improve the match day experience.
The club submitted a planning application which includes the expansion of the North Stand. Increasing the stadium capacity to 60,000.
Further plans include a hotel, expanded and improved entertainment area, a sky bar and a stadium roof-walk.
The project will cost over Β£300m and further support the community by creating over 2,500 jobs for locals.
Despite the Premier League accusations casting shadow. This has not prevented the club making significant plans and potentially breaking revenue records, according to Mike Keegan of the Daily Mail.
As a result of ongoing works, the Manchester City store based at the Etihad has been moved.
Following a short-term closure, the store will reopen today at the City@Home building. This is located at the yellow car park opposite the west reception at the Etihad Stadium.
