Manchester City announce new partnership deal with OKX

Manchester City have announced a new partnership deal with OKX.

OKX is a successful crypto exchange and web3 company. The shirt sleeve partnership will be a multi-year deal.

While this is not the first partnership between the two, it is an expanded deal. OKX and Manchester City first came together in March 2022. The company became the official partner of the training kit for the 22/23 season.

On their partners, Manchester City stated:

“To date, the partnership has helped introduce the brand to millions of football fans around the world through innovative Web3 experiences like the OKX Collective, through which fans can get up-close-and-personal with Manchester City players and OKX Ambassadors such as Jack Grealish and Alex Greenwood.”

Chief Executive Officer of City Football Group, Ferran Soriano was complimentary of OKX stating:

“We have already seen great Web3 experiences designed by OKX for Manchester City’s global fan base and there will be many more to come. This is a very exciting partnership.”

Moreover, the announcement follows reports of City’s possible record breaking revenue for 2022-2023.

The 22/23 season was a history making season for Manchester City. After winning their third successive Premier League title, they beat their neighbours to the FA Cup. June the 10th saw the Blues win their first ever UEFA Champions League.

In addition to broadcasting and media, an 80% increase on commercial revenue, the club raked in £300m in prize rewards.
