Manchester City youngsters were once again in action at the under 21 European Championships.
England beat Germany 2-nil to finish top of group C with 3 wins, and 3 clean sheets.
James Trafford and Cole Palmer started for England.
Trafford maintained his perfect record of clean sheets with another one against Germany.
The City youngster made one big save in the first half, then did his job for the rest of the game. With Middlesbrough apparently interested in the young keeper, another polished performance keeps him firmly in the shop window.
Cole Palmer got his first start of the tournament after a substitute appearance so far. He had some nice touches, but wasn’t involved in the game as much as he would’ve liked given his first start of the tournament.
Tommy Doyle and Taylor Harwood-Bellis were unused substitutes for England.
England now move on to a quarter final clash against Portugal.
Oscar Bobb came off the bench for Norway in their 1-nil win over Italy in their group D clash.
Bobb showed flashes of his quality in his time on the pitch as Norway finished with one win from their three group games.
Norway bowed out of the tournament at the group stage following their win over Italy.
