City youngsters in action at U/21 European Championships. Game 2

Manchester City youngsters were again in action at the under 21 UEFA European Championships.

In their second game England had a 2-nil win over Israel to book their place in the quarter finals.

James Trafford and Taylor Harwood-Bellis both started for England, Cole Palmer featured off the bench.

Trafford kept another clean sheet in another impressive performance. Though not called into action all that often, when needed he made one decent save in first half stoppage time to preserve England’s clean sheet.

That’s back to back clean sheets for City’s young shot stopper.

Taylor Harwood-Bellis again had another mature performance at the back for England.

With England in control for the majority of the game, Harwood-Bellis did his job again helping the England defense to another clean sheet.

Harwood-Bellis has been linked with a move away from Manchester City in recent days.

Cole Palmer got some minutes in this game after missing the opener. He came on as a substitute in the 60th minute. Palmer failed to make a significant impact on the game in his time on the pitch.

Tommy Doyle was again an unused substitute.

The Manchester City youngsters will be in action again when England face Germany in their final group game before the quarter finals begin.

Oscar Bobb featured for Norway in their 1-nil loss to France.

Bobb was substituted in the 77th minute in a frustrating night for Norway.

With two opening game losses, Norway gave been eliminated at the group stage of the tournament.
