Achraf Hakimi linked with Manchester City

PSG’s Moroccan right back Achraf Hakimi has been linked with a move to Manchester City.

Marca reports that Pep Guardiola has identified Hakimi as a possible replacement for Kyle Walker.

Walker has been linked to a move to Bayern Munich this transfer window.

There are also talks of Manchester City offering a new deal to Kyle Walker to remain at the club.

Hakimi is one of the premier right backs in world football, and he shone at the 2022 FIFA World Cup for Morocco.

He moved to PSG from Inter Milan in 2021 for a reported £60 million fee. He has won two league titles at PSG.

The PSG right back was also named in the FIFPRO world 11 in 2022.

Before arriving at PSG from Inter Milan, Achraf Hakimi had a successful spell at Borussia Dortmund after coming through the Real Madrid youth system.

Hakimi’s contract with PSG expires in 2026 which means any possible transfer would require a significant transfer fee.

Achraf Hakimi would be a huge inclusion at Manchester City. It remains to be seen if the rumored interest amounts to anything concrete at this stage.
