The kick off time for the FA Community Shield against Arsenal has been bought forward.

After Manchester City fans had protested the original 17:30 kick off time. The FA succumbed to the pressure from fans and have bought the kick off forward to 16:00 on Sunday, August 6th.
Manchester City fans had planned to not attend the Community Shield. This was in protest of the FA’s decision to play the game at 17:30 on a Sunday.
Rather than attending Manchester City fans had instead been donating the money they’d spend on a trip to Wembley to the MCFC Foodbank.

Thousands of pounds have already been raised so far for this fantastic cause.
The kick off time is still a cause of concern for Manchester City fans. Instead of a 16:00 kick off, City supporter groups want a 15:00 kick off time. It will better cater for fans making the trip from Manchester to London.
Also, the decision to play the FA Community Shield on a Sunday is a cause for concern for Manchester City and the fans.
Manchester City begin their chase for a fourth consecutive Premier League title away to Burnley on the following Friday night on August 11th.
It’s already a packed calendar for Manchester City next season. With the European Super Cup and FIFA World Club championship to fit into the schedule, City will be busy from day one next season.
