Manchester City stars were again in international action overnight.
In the last round of internationals before the players go and enjoy some hard earnt time off, several City players featured.
Kyle Walker, John Stones, Phil Foden, Kalvin Phillips and Jack Grealish all featured for England. England strolled to a 7-nil European Championship qualifier win over North Macedonia.
Kyle Walker started for England and set up the second goal with a assist for Bukayo Saka to score. News broke earlier in the day of Walker’s intention to sign a new deal at Manchester City.
Kalvin Phillips scored his first goal for England adding England’s 6th in the rout of North Macedonia.

John Stones also won a penalty late on for Harry Kane to convert to round out a resounding win for Gareth Southgate’s men.
Phil Foden and Jack Grealish made second half appearances as substitutes.
Manuel Akanji also got through a full 90 minutes for Switzerland in their 2-all draw with Romania in their European Championship qualifier.
Akanji has been one of City’s most reliable players all season, and he showed that in 90 minutes for the Swiss.
City’s English contingent and Manuel Akanji now all head of for some well-deserved rest. It’s been a long season for Manchester City’s stars and now they can all put their feet up.
