The young Englishman has been earmarked as a potential first team player at Manchester City for some time.
He’s also been earmarked as a potential England international, which speaks to how highly the youngster is rated in footballing circles.
With a fresh contract extension signed at Manchester City in January, time is on Callum Doyle’s side.
He is good on the ball, a prerequisite to play in this City outfit. He has great leadership qualities. Another great quality, especially in a player so young.
Doyle has also shown he has the physical capabilities to succeed at the top level. He held his own in League One with Sunderland, and in the Championship with Coventry City.
The tools to make it are all there for the young English defender, it just seems a matter of time before he gets his chance with Manchester City
With James McAtee thriving on loan, and there are reports will be given a chance in the first team, will Callum Doyle join him?
Is it time now for Callum Doyle to get his chance at Manchester City or is another loan move the next step in the promising defenders career?
