Manchester City are on the brink of completing a deal for Mateo Kovacic.
James Olley of espn.co.uk has today reported that a deal is close between Manchester City and Chelsea.
Olley adds to his report that talks between the two clubs are progressing between the two clubs and a agreement of the fee has been reached.
A transfer fee of £34.2 million is the reported fee for Kovacic, as reported by James Olley.
All that remains to be sorted between the club’s is the structure of the payments to Chelsea.
Fabrizio Romano has also reported that the deal that would see Kovacic arrive at Manchester City is close.

Talks between the clubs are gathering. With personal terms already agreed between Kovacic and Manchester City it seems only a matter of time before Kovacic is a Manchester City player.
Mateo Kovacic and his versatility in midfield would be a welcome addition to Pep Guardiola’s squad.
Kovacic would bring a winners mentality and international pedigree to the treble winners squad.
