Manchester City could lose Kyle Walker after he is left disappointed

Manchester City fans are set to be shocked as reports circulate that Kyle Walker could potentially leave the club.

With other key players set to depart, this could be a huge summer for the blues.

Sam Lee of The Athletic announced earlier that the City right-back could leave this summer.

The news comes after Walker was left out of the starting XI of the Champions League final.

Lee said: “He’s been disappointed with losing his place in the team, particularly the final.”

The England star has seen his success in Manchester and has played a crucial role for Pep’s blues.

Signing for City in the summer of 2017, his current contract expires in 2024.

In those six seasons he has achieved 5 Premier League titles; 1 Champions League title; 4 Carabao Cups; and 2 Community Shields.

Despite seeing less game time this season, Guardiola trusted Kyle Walker in big games.

However, he was then left out of the starting side of the biggest game of them all.

He maintained his professionalism throughout as one of the captains and leaders of the team.

Although the 33-year-old has only one year left on his contract, fans will be sad to see him go following a fantastic season in which he was crucial.
