Jude Bellingham NOT joining Manchester City

The Jude Bellingham transfer saga comes to an end as reports surface that he will join European giants.

Manchester City have been linked with the 19-year-old since the beginning of the season.

Fans began to speculate about Bellingham when uncertainty arose around the future of Bernardo Silva.

For the past few seasons, the Portuguese has flirted with the idea of a new challenge.

While many fans would prefer Silva to stay with the club, some were keen to bring in another young English talent.

However, Manchester City had stiff competition with Real Madrid also interested in Jude Bellingham.

While Manchester City were once favourites to gain his signature, Real Madrid stepped up their pursuits. Still, there were no concrete reports of City having made a bid for the player.

Unsurprisingly, he caught the eye of some of the worlds best clubs after impressive international performances for England.

After chasing and coming close to the Bundesliga title this season, the Dortmund man will leave Germany.

Football Correspondent David Ornstein of The Athletic today confirmed the news that Bellingham will join Real Madrid.

Ornstein states: “Real Madrid have reached an agreement with Borussia Dortmund to sign Jude Bellingham. Fee in excess of €100m – among biggest deals in both clubs’ histories. 19yo set to have medical in coming days before completing move”.

Jude Bellingham will not be a Manchester City player.

Meanwhile, Manchester City are solely focused on Inter Milan in the Champions League Final taking place this Saturday in Istanbul.
