Joao Cancelo and his future remains uncertain after his relationship with Manchester City appeared to break down this season.
The fullback shocked fans when he upped and left the blues in the winter transfer window in a loan move to Bayern Munich.
Both player and club strongly denied the speculation of training ground bust-ups.
Pep Guardiola and Joao Cancelo have been involved in a training ground bust-up that has led to the defender’s shock Bayern Munich move.

Instead, the shock move was put down to a lack of playing time for the Portuguese.
However, some City fans had been vocal about their frustration with the player. Boos filled the Etihad when he returned with Bayern Munich for a Champions League clash.
While the Portuguese international’s season is over, the blues still have a huge final ahead. It is unlikely that any business will occur until Manchester City’s season is over.
Cancelo joined the Premier League Champions in 2019. He has appeared in 160 games and has won 6 domestic trophies with the club.
Rumour has it that Arsenal are keen on signing the fullback. The Gunners, who took Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko last summer, could be set to add another Manchester City Premier League winner to their squad.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano recently spoke to Give Me Sport about Arsenal’s interest in Cancelo.
Romano said: “For Cancelo, yes, they are interested. They had some contact, and they have very good relationship with these agents.
“So there was a conversation over the possibility to sign Cancelo.”
Arsenal’s title bid fell short in the end, despite spending most of the season in top spot. Gunners boss Mikel Arteta will now likely want to add both quality and title-winning experience to his squad.
Despite the blues pipping Arsenal to the title, it could be unwise to sell another player to our closest challengers.
