Gundogan set to decide his Manchester City future

Manchester City captain, Ilkay Gundogan has been tight lipped in the media about his future plans as his contract comes to an end this summer.

Speaking to ex-blue, Joleon Lescott for ITV Football ahead of the FA Cup Manchester Derby Final, Gundogan had this to say:

“We will see what is going to happen. I honestly can’t tell you right now, we will see”.

According to reports, seniors at the club have been working towards a deal that will entice the German to extend his contract with the club.

The 32-year-old famously announced his own transfer to Manchester City in 2016 as one of Pep Guardiola’s first signings at the club.

He has since delivered 44 goals and 16 assists in 188 Premier League appearances.

After winning the FA Cup with a brace; a record-breaking 12 second opening volley, fans are keen to see him stay.

However, rumours broke on Sunday night that he had agreed to the extension, but this was denied by his agent hours later.

Will the Manchester City skipper sign on, or sign out?
